The New Arena, Co. was founded in 2022 with a single vision: to redefine corporate culture in America, in a way that anticipates the inevitably changing demands of the business arena. We approach each of our clients with fresh eyes to develop customized, unique strategies.

KAREN FARLOW
Co-Founder
My entrepreneurial spirit is a family tradition. I am the granddaughter of successful entrepreneur, Homer Graper, who grew up on his Wisconsin family farm and became a successful business owner and investor. My Grandpa imparted one lasting lesson on me that I will never forget, “Always do your best.” This motto has permeated my academic and professional life throughout my adulthood. In academia, I completed a Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts and began work on a Master of Sacred Theology with an emphasis on Ethics. Throughout my study, the themes of diversity, ethics and justice have been of particular interest and have formed a foundation for my professional experience.
My professional journey has included working in religious institutions, health care, behavioral therapy support, human resources, business management and law firm administration. The commonality in this variety of professions has been leadership. With over 15 years of experience in leadership, management, administration, and human resources, I have built a wealth of knowledge in organizational and human capital management. Currently, I am completing my SHRM-CP certification and a program at UW Oshkosh towards a certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. I am an active member in the Fox Cities recovery community and serve on a committee for the nonprofit, Changing Lanes in Wrightstown, WI. At the end of the day, I return home to my husband, Russell, and two dogs, Miss Lady Dahlia and Mama Fratelli.

KELSI COTTLE

Hello, my name is Kelsi, and I am co-founder of The New Arena. I have been fortunate enough to have spent my entire life learning about business in differing forms. You might say it is in my blood. On the day I was born, my father signed the paperwork to open his first Butcher Shop. My Grandparents ran the Cottle Family business, which at that time was Topsoil, and we were all expected to help. Moving forward, our family’s business ventures ranged from car sales, to manufactured home sales, several global nutritional product companies, computer education software for classrooms, pet food sales and distribution, and a spattering of other health and wellness related companies.
Once I began pursuing my undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Psychology, I gained valuable experience working in sales, customer service, and the factory line. I then took an entry-level position at a law firm in 1999. Over the next 5-6 years, I was responsible for all aspects of managing the law firm. This job changed my life path, and I applied to law school in 2005. After earning my Doctorate in 2008, I returned to Wisconsin to form the law firm, Kaehne, Cottle & Pasquale, S.C., in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. During my time building, and developing, our law firm, I was responsible for the role of Managing Partner, as well as, attorney, for 12 years. Managing the day-to-day operations, long term strategic planning, sales and marketing, vendor, and public relations, as well as a team of up to 20 employees has given me a unique perspective on the challenges and triumphs of entrepreneurship. Using my prior life experience as a catalyst to expand my professional knowledge in global business management, business expansion, and workforce development; I pursued a Master’s Degree in Global Finance Strategies and Wealth Management. My education and my experience, across a wide range of businesses, makes me uniquely qualified to consult with other business owners on issues of strategic planning, employee development, compliance, and any other core issues that arise with their businesses.
On a personal note, I was born in New Zealand, to an American Mother and Kiwi Father, and was raised as a dual citizen of New Zealand and the USA. I have a passion for volunteer work and serving my community in any way I can. I love travelling, especially when going someplace new, or visiting my family in New Zealand. I have three intelligent, vibrant, independent sons, who make me smile and laugh every single day. My life goal is to create positive and lasting change in the world.
